Custom Printing Services

Put Your Logo Where Your Customers Are Already Looking

Every order that leaves your counter carries paper with it; a receipt in the bag, a band around the rolled silverware. That paper is going to exist either way. The only question is whether it's blank or working for you.

Custom printing is one of the quieter services we've offered over our 35+ years in the paper business, and it's the one customers most often don't realize we do until they ask. So here's the full picture: what can carry your logo, how the process works, and a shortcut option for businesses that want branded paper without a custom print run.

What we can print your logo on

Custom thermal receipt rolls. Your logo, promotional messaging, coupons, return policy, or survey QR code, printed on the receipt stock your POS already uses. The receipt is the one piece of paper nearly every customer handles, and the back and header space most businesses leave blank is effectively free ad space you already paid for. Browse the options on our thermal receipt roll paper page, custom printing is available on standard widths, so there's no printer compatibility puzzle to solve.

Custom napkin bands. For restaurants, caterers, and hotels, the band around a rolled silverware set sits at eye level on every table you set. Custom napkin bands are available in one, two, and three-color printing, self-adhesive so your rolls stay closed through transport and service.

The middle option: pre-printed "Thank You" rolls

Full custom printing involves artwork, proofs, plate setup, and minimum order quantities, worthwhile at volume, but not every business is there yet, and sometimes you just need branded-feeling paper by next week.

That's what our pre-printed "Thank You" thermal rolls are for: 3 1/8" x 230' rolls with a "Thank You" message already printed, sold by the case like standard stock. No artwork, no setup, no waiting on a proof, no custom minimums. It's the difference between a receipt that feels finished and one that feels generic, at a price much closer to plain rolls than to a custom run.

Pre-printed "Thank You" rolls Branded feel None — ships like standard stock Customer-facing registers before custom volume pencils out

How the custom process works

  1. Send us your artwork. Vector files (AI, EPS, or high-resolution PDF) print cleanest. A logo screenshot pulled from your website usually can't hold a crisp edge at print size.
  2. We confirm colors and quote. Pricing on custom work is driven largely by color count, and counting the colors in a logo is less obvious than it sounds because gradients and shadows count differently than solid fills. Our guide on how to correctly calculate colors in a logo walks through it before you submit, and can save you a revision cycle.
  3. You approve a proof. Nothing goes to production until you've signed off on exactly how it will look.
  4. Production and delivery. Custom runs carry longer lead times than stock orders, so if you're printing for an event or a launch date, build that into your timeline and call us with the date and we'll tell you honestly whether it's achievable.
  5. Reorders are the easy part. Once your plates exist, reordering is a phone call.

When custom printing makes business sense

The honest math: custom printing carries setup costs and minimums, so the per-unit premium shrinks as volume grows. A single-location cafe running one register may be better served by pre-printed "Thank You" rolls until volume builds. A multi-location operation, a caterer setting hundreds of tables a week, or any business already buying paper by the pallet is usually leaving cheap impressions on the table by running blank stock.

Not sure which side of that line you're on? That's exactly the kind of question we'd rather answer before you order than after. Call 480-929-9000 with your monthly paper usage and we'll run the numbers with you, including telling you plainly if pre-printed is the smarter buy for now.
